What does a chapter charter include?
One charter sets your local Revolution up to run itself: a starter flock of 18 kosher ducks, your own co-branded tags and QR codes, a chapter page and a spot on the sightings map, and the drop playbook with seasonal ideas. After that, your people drop — and every duck they hide lands on the map under your chapter's name.
How much does it cost to start a chapter?
One hundred eighty dollars, one time — ten times chai — with your 18-duck starter flock and full kit included. No annual dues. When you run low, chapters reorder at $6 a duck by the flock of ten, plus shipping.
Who can charter a chapter?
Anyone with somewhere to hide a duck. A bar or bat mitzvah project, a simcha you're planning, a jeep club, a cruise you sail every year, a classroom, a shul, or six friends with a group chat. You don't need a budget line or a board vote — you need a corner of the world and the will to seed it. Bigger organizations — JCCs, Hillels, Federations, multi-site campaigns — get their own path; reach out and we'll scope it with you.
We already duck jeeps / hide ducks on cruises. Is this the same thing?
Same instinct, kosher twist. Jeepers have been ducking each other's rigs for years, and cruisers have been hiding ducks on ships even longer — we love it, and our ducks play by the same rules. A kosher duck adds a QR code that lands your find on a worldwide map, a little Hebrew on the tag, and a chapter name behind it. Hide one on a Wrangler in a parking lot or on a lido deck railing. Someone smiles either way.
Do we get our own ducks and QR codes?
You do. Your tags carry your chapter’s name, and the QR code on them sends finders to your page and the shared map — so a duck your chapter drops is unmistakably yours, and still part of the whole flock.
Do the co-branded tags arrive printed?
We design them; you print them. When you charter, we build your chapter's tag artwork — your name, your QR code, print-ready — and you run it off at home or at a copy shop and tie one onto each duck. Tying tags onto eighteen ducks turns out to be a good excuse for a table, a few volunteers, and an hour of talking. It also keeps the charter at $180 instead of a print bill, and you can reprint whenever you want, in whatever quantity, for as long as your chapter runs. Don't want to print at all? Your ducks arrive with our standard Kosher Duck tags in the box — tie those on and you're ready to drop.
